How I Work

I’m here as a real person, keeping things transparent and grounded so therapy feels as safe and un‑intimidating as possible. My work is trauma‑informed, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent‑affirming, with space for all the parts of who you are — including your identities, access needs and life experiences.

How I bring different approaches together

I mix techniques from across the map to find what fits you, including CBT, ACT, CFT and DBT rather than expecting you to fit a model. That might include exploring thoughts and feelings, noticing patterns in relationships, looking at how past experiences show up now, or finding practical tools for day‑to‑day life. We’ll keep checking in together about what’s helping.

You set the pace

You remain in control of how we move forward. We can go slowly, pause, or stay with the surface for a while if that’s what feels manageable. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready, and we can build in breaks, grounding and regulation as we go.

Human first, therapist second

I bring clinical expertise along with a down‑to‑earth, human approach. I’m interested in how life really feels for you — whether that’s navigating school or university, work, relationships, being autistic or learning disabled, or figuring out your identity. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to perform or mask.

Shaped around you

Therapy is not one‑size‑fits‑all. I adapt how I work to your communication style, processing speed and access needs — whether that means more structure, more space to think, visual aids, or time to find the right words. We’ll shape the sessions together so they feel as supportive and sustainable as possible.
